SandyCarson.com has got some snaps up on his site from an Austin Tweed Ride. Riding on weed in tweed. Dressing up in fancy clothes to go for a ride, how long till there is a fetish ride?
Weather has been pretty crap for the start of 2010. No big deal cos it's no fun cycling on ice. A group of us made it out to West Kirby for fish, chips and mushy peas washed down with danelion & burdock and pots of tea. Somewhere on the route home Clifford decided to take a solo detour to the local doggin car parks. We eventually managed to find him and spend the rest of the night in The Swinging arm in Birkenhead.
After decades of talking about it work has finally started on some sort of development to New Brighton. First thing they have done is drain the Marine Lake to reveal a rusty, bike graveyard. You can't polish a turd.
Have you noticed the snow this week? It looked ace so we went to Mold in North Wales. It's only a 40 minute drive from home but was super snowtastic there. I've never been in snow deeper than a few inches so this was crazy for me because it was at least knee deep everywhere. So deep that some clown drove off the end of the car park. I have a snowboard and a jacket, i borrowed the pants and boots but i have no gloves so i created some, 'Ghetto-Gloves' by putting on some Marigolds under some 3 quid gloves.
Check out the beaut with the ute. There's no need for any, 'pimp my ride' shit with this beast of a pick up. Rollin on solid 14's, dropped suspension, no power steering, a cassette stereo and for a while no tax disc due to Adam or Russell throwing it away. L.B.P this is how we do! It's the perfect vehicle for New Bird building missions.
Last week it was The Gonz, this week Lance Armstrong gets some Adequate exposure. This is a little snap of him watching Bon Iver at the recent Austin City Limits festival. Sandy Carson.com has just been shooting some photos of Lance at the big mountain bike race he has at his ranch.
It's not about the, bling, the shizzle my dizzle, dope ass, making the drummer get wicked, being awesome and sweet. It will be random ramblings, rumblings, notions and images. It's about being ADEQUATE.
If you're riding a bike (or anything) in a style that it was intended for, then it's just riding. You really think you're pushing that many boundaries? The only people that do tricks are rollerbladers or prostitutes.
Remember that this is a blog and as such it IS relevant and important to your life and your relationship with the interweb. Get involved and stay ADEQUATE.
